PathPresenter introduces ConsultConnect, a zero trail internet portal

PathPresenter, a software leader for the digital flow of pathology, is pleased to announce ConsultConnect, a new solution to consulting digital pathology and remote remote. Secondly, ConsultConnect offers a highly improved and simplified implementation process, enabling institutions to stand up and act with a cloud -based solution within days instead of months.

ConsultConnect contains all tools required by pathologists and institution administrators to provide remote services of a second opinion to hospitals around the world. The basis of the platform is user-friendly, scanner-agnostic image browser for pathologists to receive, view and display remote cases of the second opinion. For administrators, the portal provides tools for easy implementation and management of sending hospitals and incoming matters. The zero-ice platform is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by the Vanta Safety and Compliance Supplier in the industry for HIPAA’s compliance.

ConsultConnect has been optimized to act on AWS by Pathpresanter and partner Citiustech. Thanks to specialist knowledge in the field of medical imaging, Citiustech used AWS health services to ensure ConsultConnect provides the best imaging performance and data integrity, including the functionality of sending DICOM files throughout the slide. AWS Healthimaging is a service qualifying for HIPAA for medical imaging in the cloud, giving clients efficiency, scale and low total cost of possession needed for high burden on pathology. AWS services provide solid security measures specifically to support patient data in various healthcare entities.
