Partner Axxam and B’Sys to extend access to verified ion channel cell lines for high capacity electrophysiology

AXXAM SPA, the most important supplier of integrated early drug discovery services, and B’Sys GmbH, a specialist in ion channel biology, are pleased to announce strategic cooperation focused on enabling access to approved cell lines of ion channels to identify hit and lead through high transitional electrophysiological tests.

B’Sys offers an extensive catalog of designed cell lines expressing a wide range of ion channels. Thanks to this cooperation, AXXAM will use its deep specialist knowledge in the field of biology and high band capacity to confirm selected B’Sys cell lines on automated clamp platforms, including SP384 AXXAM systems.

This joint initiative provides pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients with an exceptional advantage: the ability to obtain approved cell lines of ion ion channel appropriate to demanding applications for drug detection. These approved lines will undergo strict results based on results to make sure they meet the rigorous criteria required for a high bandwidth campaign (HTS).
