The annual conference at UT Arlington is investigating how AI shapes the future of healthcare

The University of Texas in Arlington will gather experts and innovators at the fifth annual Texas Health Informatics Alliance conference, examining how artificial intelligence shapes the future of healthcare.

The conference will take place on Friday, September 26, at Bluebonnet Ballroom of University Center. This year’s topic, all in: The practice of reliable and responsible AI operations in the field of healthcare, reflects its focus on ethical, effective and focused on the patient AI applications.

Morning sessions will open with the main speech of Wendy Chapman, Associate Dean for Health Information and Chief Learning Health Officer at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. Its presentation is entitled “Practice of reliable and responsible AI activities in healthcare”.

Additional morning programming includes the presentation of Nora Cox, General Director of TEXAS E-Health Alliance, on the results of “AI and IT legislation from session 2025”.
